No will, no pills
Here's an article from the Hamilton Spectator today about how federal legislation under Canada's Access to Medicines Regime has failed to deliver a single dose of anti-retrovirals to Africans living with HIV/AIDS.
The act is too cumbersome and there's too many concessions to the big drug companies - so in the two years since it passed, thousands of people have died needlessly.
Why can't we just get on with it?
